Public routing, cross-border links, the team’s egress point, source-code location, and workload transfer volume all affect the actual round-trip time.

Interactive graphical sessions depend primarily on round-trip latency and jitter; large dependency and model downloads depend more on sustained throughput; CI queues should also evaluate the source, cache, and artifact storage along the same path.

Then estimate the time needed for environment setup, execution, result export, and cleanup. The selected period should cover the full shutdown and exit process, not just command execution.

    Complete the first-run check
